ClipMate for Windows has been the leading clipboard enhancer since 1991, and has plenty of brilliant features. The program supports all clip types: text (including formatted text), images and HTML pages. When you've copied an item to the clipboard, ClipMate stores the item in its short-term clip area. You can keep as many clips here as you need, and the default is 100 clips. If you need to use a clip again, simply transfer it to the Safe for Long Term storage; you can create your own folders under the Safe for various collections of clips for your projects. One of the program's handiest features is that it can view clipboard items as thumbnails, so you can make your selection at a glance; just select an item to copy ot to the clipboard. New features in this version include Quick Paste enhancements, dual clip lists, collapsible toolbars and source URL (copy an HTML page to the clipboard, and it remembers the URL you copied it from). ClipMate includes a comprehensive Help file and a tutorial for those new to the program.
